Your saga has given me the motivation to get rid of the sneakers-from-hell and get a new pair. With Anna changing pre-schools, we are moving her to the Y and leaving the J, and that means we can afford workout place with child-care. The J does not do this and the Y does. So, I got new sneakers and hopefully I will stop slamming my toes in the front of the shoe.

Good luck with the new shoes. I like the purple. Maybe I will try Brooks next. I never thought of myself as having high arches but sneakers are the only comfortable shoes out there short of bare-foot. Maybe I do have high arches.
