i was holding sylvia in my lap and we were warbling at each other. i said 'i love you' in a sing-songy voice and she warbled back the same tune. no words, but she hit the same notes. i just stared at her for a second and then looked at jeff. he had heard the same thing. i don't care if it was just sheer imitation. that alone is pretty damn impressive.
