another day another mission

did not get all of yesterday's missions accomplished, but i still feel fairly good about life. of the things i didn't get done yesterday, i have already folded sylvia's clothing.
new list
1) fold laundry (adult).
2) harass baby diaper service for slack deliveryman.
3) dishes
4) oil change (at saturn - woot, they usually have cookies)

i'm contemplating an unmother's day poem for some friends who have adopted out, miscarried or simply cannot have kids. i think i have some strange variant of survivors syndrome.

now blooming: bearded iris
blooming any day now: fritillaria
yet to be planted: cannas, caladiums, anemones

this sounds good. I heard from the ac repair lady today that she bought her own mother's day presents...and sometimes tho it's selfish i think, yea, well lady, at least you will get them, i don't get to be a mom.... except in proxy. *groan* HOwever there are lots of little vaxettes out there to frogify. :)

Be careful with the caladiums. Any elephant ear like plant is poisoness and will cause tummy troubles in light doses. I got rid of ours because they were just to interesting. I am going to see how the elephant ears (plain green and hopefully boring) do.
