while antibiotics are often overused, there is a wondrous place for them, and tonsilitis would be it. ah, i can actually enjoy swallowing instead of having it be the curse of my existence. i am no longer freaking out poor little sylvia by refusing to speak to her. i am a happy camper.

resubmitted my rejected poem. i decided to get kooky & send it to asimov's. i've always wanted to send mail to gardner dozois. if i have done nothing else, i have gotten that compulsion out of my system. the big problem is that this is a sci-fi poem and thus i think it would do best in a sci-fi publication. however, i don't have many other poems and many pubs seem to want a grouping of poems. shrug. i shall figure it out when i get this one back, yes? response time is only 5 weeks! response time for leading edge was supposed to be 4 months, but they got it back to me within 2 weeks. you could almost smell the scorch marks. i'm thinking at that multiple, i should be hearing back from asimov's by tuesday ;).
