You know how sometimes there's a song running through your head and you've just got to get it out. Well, ever since this morning, I've been humming "Ding Dong the witch is dead. The witch is dead. The witch is dead. Ding dong, the wicked witch is deeaaaaadd!" And this is wrong, because Rumsfeld is not quite a witch, and not quite dead - but I'm still happy. It still won't bring back the dead, the wounded, the maimed, or U.S. credibility in the world - but it's a start.
and oh yeah - DEMOCRATS TAKE OVER THE SENATE!!! How much vacation do you think Bush will take this year?
In local election news, Vernon Robinson, aka the freak, lost. The one catch phrase he chose to put on every sign was SECURE THE BORDERS! I just wanted to send the poor man a jumbo pack of meds. The school bond passed, almost everyone I voted for won, I can't remember an election where I've been able to check off this many victories for 'my guys[1]'.
[1]and yes, that includes a sizable pack of women.
