magicicadawhen i was a kid, middle/high school aged, i would play this trick on my mom many mornings. i would come up to her in the kitchen and give her a hug and then shut my eyes, slump and attempt to get a little more sleep. mind you, we're both standing in the kitchen, but it was precious snooze time. i am reminded of this as sylvia sleeps on top of me.
