Will a princess party dress dry faster hanging inside, by a window, over an A/C vent or outside, in the direct sun with ungodly humidity?

Over the A/C vent, in view of a sunny window if possible. The A/C is pumping out dehumidified air.

(frogging) actually, inside, in front of a sunny window, with a fan blowing, would probably be ideal.

the window is only marginally sunny and there's not much that I can change there, but I hear thunder! I think it's inside for the win.
