Will a princess party dress dry faster hanging inside, by a window, over an A/C vent or outside, in the direct sun with ungodly humidity?

In front of the a/c vent... and if there's still residual dampness as the time draws nigh? hang it on the shower curtain rod and blow dry it.

IN this ungodly heat i'd just put the thing on and hope it will cool me. :)
