interesting way to start the day
i went out to get the paper this morning and as i opened the door, i noticed some wasps hovering around the trashcan. i informed ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
h_postmortemus and went out again, only to see an odd long cone in the trash can. i got on tiptoes and noticed that the cone was actually the tail of a possum. ok, i added this to my report and went out to fetch the paper. the possum was released or at least encouraged to leave our trashcan and is apparently not rabid or horribly sick, but very pissed off. we then moved on to bagels and coffee.
