not just a cool artist, but a cool frood. observe this description of one of her works:
This painting kicked around for over a year, and then one day, crazed by my digital pastel experiments, I suddenly knew how to finish it. Woohoo! And yes, to nip any possible misinterpretations in the bud...they're lesbians. I, however, am not. Good. We all clear? Excellent. Hopefully no one will now feel the need to e-mail me and ask if I'm a lesbian, or more enjoyably, tell me that the notion of lesbian angels means I will go directly to hell without passing go. I have strong feelings about that as well, but they are more succinctly summed up in hand gestures, which lose something when one attempts to transmit them digitally.
