ok, today is going better. sylvia again woke me up too early (8am for those keeping track) but i'm pretty sure she's having another growth spurt and i can cope with that. i just had not realized yesterday how much of the previous night's sleep had been missing. i completed the temp job - woohoo. it was actually pretty anticlimatic, but it's a start. [livejournal.com profile] h_postmortemus and i have officially figured out that plans A,B & C won't really work for dinner but that that we have an assortment of plan Ds (leftovers) in the freezer and that will work. still need to call the pediatrician and arrange for sylvia's 4 month shots. i'm not sure if i'm reluctant because i can't stand her doctors or because i'm a lazy procrastinator. probably it's the latter, because otherwise i would have found her another set of doctors.

catching up, sylvia has reached a new developmental milestone: raspberries! i am amused that the humble *pbbtt* is a milestone. she blew her first official raspberry on mother's day.

anna's eathing them, sylvia's blowing them, les is buying more, and i'm going to make them into some jam if there's any left at the farmer's market. :) It's a theme.

You forgot to point out that Sarah puts imaginary ones in her imaginary tea at our imaginary beach parties.

Oh, and Jenn? 8am is Too Early??? Try 630am....

I just love those raspberries. Anna is currently perfecting the tongue outside the mouth raspberry. I have never gotten sick of them and they make me laugh. Enjoy!

i understand i am somewhat spoiled, but i'm used to it :). sylvia generally fully awakens around 9:30-10am. of course, she also (pre growth spurt) would wake up at 4:30 am and 7-7:30 am. for the past few days there has been no pattern and i have definitely been more tired during the day.

yea, she's pretty adorable, but we're still eagerly awaiting giggles :) i'm afraid sylvia is getting tickled far more than she deserves. she scrunches up and opens her mouth, but no giggles yet!

Hehehe...
Does she point at the same place on you? If she points to your arm, stomach, etc., giggle back. It will teach her the reaction. I think Anna did a real giggle at 9-10 months. Before that it was smiles, blowing air and wiggling.

*laugh* Yeah, I was just harrassing you. I am envious. My kids used to both sleep until 8. In fact, there were some days when I had to wake Sarah at 9ish. Alas, we now are in the 630ish mode. :P
