fussy reasons

well, she's not constipated ;). she is drooling, but has been since she hit 3 months. she isn't grabbing at her ear or rubbing her nose. actually it would be darn cute if she was rubbing her nose. she's not slamming her head or doing anything really bizarre. she has been putting her hands in her mouth a lot more, but it's hard to tell if that's because of teething, hunger or oral habit. i tried giving her a soothy teething ring both before and after it had been cooled. her reaction was the same both times. 'ma, what in the world do you think you are doing?' she wasn't mad, she was just worried for my sanity. this evening she was quite upset again, but at least part of it was tiredness. the real question is, why has she been waking up so upset? *sigh* that brings us back to the growth spurt theory. she's mad when she wakes up because her tummy is empty.
