Jul. 15th, 2004 10:53 pmproto-poem continues to percolate, but i didn't get the guts to open a blank page before i got too tired to think of writing.
i've switched from studying for the EA exam to studying 'everyone's tax return' in the hopes of setting a date for taking the test before the office moves to holly springs :p.
sylvia is lovely as always, but continues to crumble after coming home from daycare. she's doing great there, but i think it's just a really long day for her and she doesn't know what to do with all the stimulus. jeff is sure that she learned the word 'mine' at daycare.
rajah continues his convalescence downstairs. he seems better than before starting treatment, but still not great. if we can just get him to a state where he can spend his last months/years relatively content, i will consider the treatment to have been a success.
work is busy as always. i think i'm beginning to get a rhythm with the 'rotating' assignment, but still need to call in reinforcements often. that seems to be fairly common with this assignment though, and i should get a new assignment next week - yeah! that will let me catch up with some of my backlog.
i'm still torn about the idea of career change. on the one hand, i love the company i'm working for now, and the rogue perks. on the other hand, it sure would be nice to write my own schedule.
