I also made some reccomendations on ASR many many years ago about some Raleigh things to your husband. At least, i think it was ASR. it was several years back, as I recall.

wow, i did not realize that you and jeff had conversed on ASR. it makes sense that you would have, but i never made the connection. and yes, i found your lj through a spate of postings on the rtsfs list. i am not sure if you're that far away from me. i'm in n raleigh, where are you?

I doubt Jeff remembers me from ASR - I think that was 2-3 email addresses ago *grin*

We're in Pittsboro. North Raleigh is probably more like 40 miles away, depening on what part you're in. Considering it's 35 miles from here to Red Hat, I'm probably off by 5 miles, give or take...

probably alchemist @ darkcanvas.com or pagesz.net I've had darkcanvas.com since '98 or so, and I think that's when I was reading ASR a lot.

Hmmm, went through all my old saved mail but didn't find any references.

Not that it's not true or anything. Hmmm, just did a search on Google with the ASR newsgroup. Man, that brings back memories... and some headaches.

Well, I've found one message I posted in June 2002 to ASR, but that doesn't appear to be to you. Could just be ships that pass in the night and all that nonsense.

I suppose my memory could be faulty, but I do recall us both on/around ASR at some point...

Gainesville, 1998 (I think), Sheepshead game when I came over for 10 days to stay with Marcus for my birthday. I don't have many clear recollections from then, but that's definitely the first time we met, long before marriage was on the cards for me.

We met through his Rifferness.
We used to hang out at Anubis' townhouse when we weren't at Market Street Pub.
I was second best man at your wedding and scored you Stones tickets as a gift (VOODOO LOUNGE BABY!)
If you don't reemember me I understand...a bit hurt but do understand, afterall we used to drink alot in those daze.
Should this be the case I think, Jeff MIGHT recall.

1992. I had just kicked BELGARATH out, and was looking for a roommate. LAZLO said "I have someone I want you to meet" (or something to that effect). It clicked. It rocked. I have photos (muhahahahaha! ...actually my favorite is a picture of you sitting cross-legged on your bedroom floor artistically applying a soldering iron to a circuitboard. Jeff was looking over at you with protective concern, while you were wearing one of his button-up shirts, and your hair was falling across your face).
