an actual random update

i finally got a passing score on one of the part 3/corporations practice exams for the EA exam. it's helping me to feel like this whole crazy thing might just be possible.

in other news, i am in the twirly horns of a dilemma and would appreciate advice. i have a small portion of my birthday money left and am trying to decide what to do with it. i am too lazy to do a poll, so i would appreciate responses via the 'ol fashioned comment button. our choices are:

a) a personalized license plate/vanity tag of intense cunning. it's message is so intensely cool that i cannot reveal it due to fear the concept being swiped.

b) a bulk order of tulips. i have been swearing to myself that i would do this for years. jeff is somewhat pessimistic of the time involved getting them planted vs the realities of a small bustling child, but i have my hopes.

c) a frame for my 'bella rose' print purchased at trinoc-con.

all of these cost about the same amount and i may be able to do 1.5, and i'd chip in some of my own money to complete the second acquisition. please deposit your 2 cents here ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------v

The tulips. Go for the tulips. You get the joy of doing something you've promised yourself, the joy of working to place them and plant them, the joy of seeing them again and again.

B & C. Both are works of sheer beauty. :)

You must also commit to yourself that you WILL plant the bulbs. :)

I vote for C, for the pragmatic reason that you've already got the art, but it's essentially going to waste until you complete it with a frame.

Les recently framed two pieces of art that we've had in tubes since our honeymoon, and words can not begin to express how much I wish we had done it sooner.

Ok, i vote B as a definite, because tulips are SO beautiful, and you get such intense joy out of gardening and seeing the fruits of your labor :)

As a second option i choose a, because i want to know what the intensely cunning license plate IS!! :D
