i'm going to actually read my poetry to people - in public! it will require a modest amount of schedule shuffling with hrb, but it should be possible. i had gotten halfway through signing up before i realized that i had never done this before.

come egg[1] me on or bring your own stuff.
(it's the "Come Together Poetry Fest" towards the middle of the page. )

i'm sure there will be a good amount of nervousness, but for now i am fiendishly excited. i need to gather up my poetry and decide what is worth inflicting on the masses. i have a 5 minute slot, but no idea how much poetry will fill that length of time.

what's the etiquette here, should i bring paper copies?

[1]any actual eggs should be hard-boiled and presented in a neat carton after the event.

i was going to make lavender soap eggs that would look better not in a carton of Recycled paper, not yechy styro!
