ivan231. Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, find line 4. Write down what it says:
"While many chapbooks have been and are being published off the radar, chapbook publication.."
2. Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first?
Dark wooden blinds covering our computer room windows. I had originally thought that pale wood would go better with the colors in this room, but it was a really good sale and they were out of pale wood. I'm now glad that we went with the darker color as it creates a very calm soothing effect in the summer.
3. What is the last thing you watched on TV?
A snippet of "Good Morning America".
4. WITHOUT LOOKING, guess what time it is:
12:47
5. Now look at the clock, what is the actual time?
12:49

Sylvia banging on the closet door with her little plastic phone.
7. When did you last step outside? what were you doing?
About an hour ago to greet

8: Before you came to this website, what did you look at?
That was probably yesterday, as I open tabs and read them when I can. I'll pull out a random tab instead,
demand more capybara and/or stuffed sloth!9. What are you wearing?
Grandfather Mountain sweatshirt, jeans, no socks. Although it is gotten cold outside again, I have decided that, in my heart, it is too springlike to wear socks.
10. Did you dream last night?
Nope. Went to sleep around 1pm, Sylvia woke up around 2:30 am and was nursing more or less continuously after that. She's having either a massive growth spurt, teething or both.
11. When did you last laugh?
Probably the last time Sylvia giggled at me.
12: What is on the walls of the room you are in?
Clockwise, from the aforementioned blinds:
- "The Creative Circumplex", a nifty chart from Issue 49 of Speculations, p 15 (that's what is says on the bottom, I found it online somewhere) that shows the stages of creativity, "Entry, Craft, Challenge, and Travel". It's really rather encouraging about the creative process.
- A signed print by Ursula Vernon of a "Nallwug" a primitive creature that lives in eternal hope of a surprise party.
- A rather artsy cat calendar that my mom sent me for my birthday.
- A vast swath of magnetic poetry.
- Also, a fish mobile hanging from the ceiling.

17. Tell me something about you that I don't know:
I think this question is pretty lame.
18. If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?
I'm skipping this question on the grounds it belongs in a beauty contest, not a fairly nice quiz.

Visiting yes, but I think I'd be too homesick to live abroad for any vast length of time.
