i love my job

i volunteered for the corporate spelling bee at my workplace as i have a freak gift for spelling. there was some mention of a costume contest, but i did not allow that to disturb me knowing that the other people on the team have an even lower tolerance for humiliation and cutesy bee costumes than i do. it may also help to know that my company is a railroad/software company - no train, no tracks, but we know where al l the trains are. well, today i got an email asking for sizes so that our 'outfits' could be purchased for the bee: engineer's cap, bib overalls and shirt. i am tremendously amused :).
