today will be garden day. i decided that the whole 'prep for france' mindset has caused me to get way too stressed to actually get anything done. therefore NO france prep activities will occur today. i am going to do as many garden tasks as i get around to, trying very hard not to freak about my outdoor to do list as well. however, i do expect that the tomatoes will get planted which would be a great accomplishment in itself.

also, i got a larger, more practical purse for the french trip on my last errand. i almost bought a dress which would be perfect for travel. it was black, cotton knit, perfect in every way except that it was $30 and i could not see myself actually wearing it. i have a nice tunic & slacks set and i know where the dress is if i change my mind before i go. i think i'm just sick of spending money.

$30 is not a bad price for a dress, especially one that can be dressed up or down. Are you just not a "dress" person?
