woo-hoo!!!

I got into a graduate class! I got into a graduate class!

...and the poet teaching the class said my poetry had "fine moments" (and problems too, but I'm going to savor the glow for right now).

The teacher is Peter Makuck. He is retired from ECU, and the editor of Tar River Poetry.

oh! I've only read a little bit of his work, but I like what I've read, very much. I've got a book of his on my "pick this up from the library sometime" list -- Off-Season in the Promised Land. :)
