today:
5 hrs in library
+ chinese takeout (love the husband)
4-5 hrs studying at home
+ gingerbread latté delivery (love the husband very very much)
----
French Translation course - DONE
French Literature - quite possibly done with major paper. I will need to read it in the morning to see if it is crap. I suspect that the last paragraph could use a tweak. I would be done with this course at that point, but I have two revisions of previous papers to do.
French Phonetics - I have been studying, but have much yet to do. I have no idea if it is possible to get this much material in my head. I also don't know when I will wake up tomorrow, or how much time I'm going to devote to the aforementioned revisions.
---
Previously finished - English Internship (class portion)
---
must sleep now. must not panic about things that I might have forgotten or not getting to sleep.
--
French classes are impossibly hard, but I still love the language.

Date: 2007-12-10 01:19 pm (UTC)i admire your ability to stick with it and do such a great job. I tried watching the dvd with french version of my favorite martian and i just couldn't understand more than one word in thirty. i still have to translate everything except what i learned at age one, two or three and those were silly things like mom saying "open the door" talking about feeding me while in a highchair and at the "i'm not opening my mouth stage". you can imagine fun things like a three year old not opening the door, but her mouth when the command was issued by somebody actually speaking french who thought i knew the language. *sigh*
