going to the fair

went to the fair today. h_postmortemus and sylvia got a bit worn out from the experience, but it was well worth it. some highlights:

non-food:

• giant velvety celosia at the flower show.


• roller coaster! it didn't look too impressive, but the adrenaline and drops were much better than you would expect. i declined to purchase the picture of myself.


• carousel ride w/sylvia


• the waterfall

food (for the whole gang, some eaten after the fair):

• fried eggplant


• gyro


• fries


• giant creampuff from the outer dimension


• brownie


• soft serve ice cream


• frozen, chocolate covered banana

the downsides - strates strates strates
i really hope they bring back amusements of america for next year's fair.
