asleep awake asleep

sylvia stirred from her nap, but was not really awake so i gave her a bit of the 'ol rockabye treatment. the long car rides and unfamiliar surroundings have thrown a real wrench into her sleep routines, but she seems to be readjusting well.

Anna ended up only napping for about 1/2 hour after our GT on Friday. I was ready to cry. Fortunately for all of our sanity (well, except Leslie's mom who was afraid that there was a cat trapped in the room with her, but couldn't open the door on threat of death if she woke her), she did finally get a good nap on Saturday. And she was very happy to be home last night, after 12(!) hours on the road... But that's another story.

(Post script: the cat was roaming the neighborhood.)

my sympathies. she did seem to enjoy running you ragged at the park. cats are very good at indicating when they are trapped. i'm waiting to hear about the 12 hrs, but i doubt it's a good story. we got trapped for a long time ourselves on i-95. jeff is beginning to take more seriously my goofy idea of taking 301 as it is rumored to go all the way from nc to florida.
