strangely unenthused

i am looking at today's list of accomplishments and it doesn't seem too bad, but i feel like i haven't gotten anything done.

• made a crockpot dinner (london broil, potatoes, carrots, onion)
  
• signed up for a temp job. it's only an hr, but it should be fairly simple and i will have brought in income. *huzzah*
  
• watered 2 out of 4 front garden beds. we did not get any rain this past weekend even though it was predicted at least as a possibility for every day.
  
• went to dollar general to pick up a new broom, clothes basket etc. i actually remembered to get security envelopes. we've only been out of them for a couple of years. i also got a teeny tiny resin chair for sylvia. i'm not sure how long it will be till she can sit in it, but she has been making amazing progress at holding herself up.
  
  hmm... still don't know why i'm feeling blah. perhaps it's because sylvia woke up too early today. usually we are fairly well synced, but not today. i changed her diaper and put her in her crib under the mobile, but that doesn't keep her happy forever and i have to get dressed while she's in her morning happy time. that way there's still enough coast time for me to make my bagel and coffee before she needs food. perhaps it is because it hasn't rained in way too long and the air pressure change is giving me a headache. ponder. *shrug* i'll live.

I keep meaning to comment but run out of time. Can't wait to see the garden and the fruits of your labour. Also of course we can't wait to meet Sylvia, it all sounds very challenging to juggle at once.

yah, it gets a bit intense sometimes. can't wait to see you guys too. i hope i will have a large harvest to share.
