i'm back

for real this time, no more hit and run internet usage.

according to the very diligent tech:

• all this cable bad


• cable bad here too, i thought i had it but, nooo


• so i took this pedestal here apart and then i thought i had it but nooo


• and i went here, and the map was all wrong, and i replaced this cable and i thought i had it but nooo


• so i replaced this pedestal, and this cable, and someone will be coming by to bury the cable and replace all [3] of the pedestals.

which matches really well what i saw everytime i looked out the window:

• one cable truck over here


• two cable trucks over here


• one over here, one way over there


• one cable truck way over there


• two cable trucks over here

all accompanied by a lot of bright orange equipment, ample usage of wireless walkie talkie phones and a truly piteous amount of head shaking. after spending at least 5 hrs in our neighborhood, the tech really needed to talk.

Well...at least the techs seem to agree that the installation that you guys had out there was truly pitiful and really needed to be replaced properly instead of patched.
