while antibiotics are often overused, there is a wondrous place for them, and tonsilitis would be it. ah, i can actually enjoy swallowing instead of having it be the curse of my existence. i am no longer freaking out poor little sylvia by refusing to speak to her. i am a happy camper.

Hey, I just finished taking a 10 day course of Augmentin too. It give me tummy troubles, but it certainly did seem to clear up whatever respiratory infection I had been suffering.
Sorry to read that you've been sick. Hope you are feeling 100% soon!

thanks. i am feeling so much better, i cannot believe i was sick. the trick with the heavy duty antibiotics is to be very rigorous about taking them with food.
