employed again/still
Mar. 30th, 2004 09:51 pmi'm not sure how much of this i posted to lj, but my job at hrblock runs out (can you guess?) april 15th. yesterday i sent off an email to a realtor and appraiser that i know.
---
i got a response to my work-seeking emails this morning, phoned the guy this afternoon and we're all set. he even offered me the top of the range[1] i was asking. this is not really an entire job, but some 'projects' such as reworking his web page and getting his marketing lists in order so that he can print mailing labels. further down the road, he might need a 'real estate assistant' and so we're taking this as a trial run. mostly, i no longer feel like an utter idiot who has failed to even attempt to get a new job even when she knew that her present job runs out in a matter of weeks.

[$10/hr it's not much, but this is just an entry level get my feet wet job. he even emphasized that i could do a lot of the work from home :) ]

the less pleasant news is that sylvia did not take a morning nap today and
h_postmortemus managed to get himself dangerously sleepdeprived as well, so this afternoon when i wanted to be all giddy about my new minijob they were BOTH melting down. everyone is sleeping now, but me and i think i might toddle off early myself. i just need to get a poetry entry ready to send to canada.
