she's asleep

i picked sylvia up to hug her and let her fall asleep on me because she was getting too tense. she fell asleep and i put her back in her car seat. she woke up, but then her lids fell shut because she was just too sleepy. she's in her car seat and not her crib, but i think we're making progress. we did also have some time playing with the tunnel of doom (tm) so it hasn't all been trauma today.

Kids or at least Anna isn't very interested in battery operated toys. They are good at getting her attention but not very good at keeping it. The cats on the other hand are good at keeping it.

"Spot! Run Spot run! Anna's going to get your tail. Anna, watch Spot run. Bye Spot."

Then there is poor Toi. Toi is 18 years old and slow moving. HE gets tackle hugged a lot. Anna damn near squishes him to death.
